It was only after a serendipitous encounter with her mentor that S. N. Short gathered the courage to pursue the path of publication.
S. N. Short's fascination with horror dates back to her childhood, where she and her twin sister would sneak out of bed late at night to watch movies and anthologies on their parent's old black and white TV. The love for the genre continued with clandestine readings of scary books from the school library, until her mother discovered and promptly banished them from the house.
Known for her creative approach to character demise, S. N. Short is always on the lookout for new and unexpected ways to challenge her readers.
